Distributed in 1916 by the Ferguson Bakery of Roxbury MA, the BF2 pennants were undersized felt pennants that featured a black and white photo of a popular player of the day. Each pennant measuring approximately six inches in length, the unnumbered set comprised 97 subjects. This example features White Sox pitcher and Hall of Famer Red Faber, the text and photo set against what was likely a black felt background that has faded a bit over time. Some minor wear can be seen at the tip of the pennant, with a bit of surface wear to the printing at the right of the image.
