Given the rarity of the entire set, it should be no surprise to learn that the 1916 Altoona Tribune card seen here of Hall of Fame manager Connie Mack is the only graded example. With tack holes at the top and bottom, this example suffered the fate of so many pre-war cards, resulting in a numerical grade of POOR by PSA. The image of a stern looking Mack is strong, dark and striking, however, with some very slight foxing at the bottom on a reverse that's still bright. A prized card in any grade, from a rare issue.
