1916 Standard Biscuits is known to be an extremely tough mid-teens issue.  Closely related to the relatively easier M101-4 and M101-5 sets as it shares a checklist with subjects from both, it is a beast to collect. The company was based out of San Francisco and distribution of the was certainly limited in scope. Sam Crawford is one of many Hall-of-Famers in the set and this is the only graded example by either PSA or SGC.

PSA has graded the card GOOD 2 as there is a crease that looks to emanate from a pinhole along the left border, fanning out horizontally across his shoulders to the right border.  The top left corner has taken some wear while the others have some slight rounding. The surface is in nice shape and there is no foxing evident. The reverse is similarly unaffected by foxing although a mark or beginnings of another pinhole can be seen in the third line of the text. This is a terrifically tough card of a popular member of the Hall of Fame.
