This colorful E97 C.A. Briggs card of Matty McIntyre has survived nicely over the past eleven decades, with the SGC pop report showing five 4's, with only two 5's higher. The golden setting sun, dark green grass and ghostly grandstand in the background allow McIntryre to be showcased in high relief.  A small white area of stray white ink that can be seen on his cap bears mentioning but doesn't distract. Typical corner rounding for the grade is seen and doesn't affect the image. The reverse is free of paper loss or scrapbook residue.
