1935 edition Diamond Star of Lefty Grove, the man Bill James once identified as the greatest left-handed pitcher of all time. The #1 card in the set, the Grove card is notoriously difficult to find in presentable condition, and considered one of the tougher and more desirable cards in the set, in any grade. Presented in a SGC 3 holder, the card shows its age with small spots of foxing distributed across the surface, yet presents nicely for the grade and has toned evenly over the years. Lefty would net has last 20 win season with in 1935 but was known of course, for being a key member of Connie Mack's 1929-31 Athletics.
