Most fans today associate Fenway Park with the Boston Red Sox, of course but Fenway also hosted the NFL's Boston Redskins from 1933-36. Known today as the Washington Commanders, the Redskins left Boston for Washington after the 1936 season where they've remained for nearly a century. This trio of uncommon official NFL programs represents three of the Redskins four seasons in Boston, including one program each from the 1934, 1935, and 1936 campaigns. Includes the following programs: 1) October 7, 1934 - a 16-13 loss to the New York Giants. 2) September 29, 1935 - opening game of the season and a 7-3 victory over the Brooklyn Dodgers 3) October 4, 1935 - a 7-0 loss to the New York Giants.

All programs in this group exhibit moderate toning and wear to the white covers with more obvious wear to spines and corners. A pencil notation appears atop the 1934 cover and both the 1934 and 1936 covers have the year written in ballpoint along the bottom edge. Interior pages present handsomely though heavy creasing, a few tears, and paper loss to corners can be found throughout. From the personal collection of longtime Baltimore-area broadcaster, Ted Patterson.
