With the momentum on the Yankees' side, Brooklyn needed a big game, and thanks to Johnny Podres, they got one.  Podres scattered 7 hits in a complete game victory, striking out 6 and having just one shaky inning, the Yankees scoring 2 runs in the 2nd, including Mickey Mantle's 5th World Series home run.  The Dodgers won the game, 8-3, bringing the series to a 2-1 Yankee lead.
