Original 5" x 7" Goodwin & Co. glass plate negative emanating from the "Vermont Find." Pitcher Jocko Flynn is depicted in a standing pose with the 1888 Omaha Omahogs of the Western Association. This image served as the source material for Flynn's N172 Old Judge card numbered 164.5-2. There is a large piece of glass and emulsion missing from the lower-right third of this negative, cutting off the extreme lower portion of Flynn's left foot. Light, unobtrusive brown discoloration is present around all three corners and left edge. Incredibly, this is one of four original Goodwin & Co. original glass plate negatives featuring Flynn offered in this sale, with this being the single confirmed card image within the group.
