Extremely significant stub from Game 5 of the 1948 World Series between the Indians and Boston Braves, played at Cleveland Municipal Stadium on October 10.  This game marked the first time a Black pitcher would take the mound in World Series history, as Satchel Paige pitched to two batters in the top of the 7th, retiring Warren Spahn on a run-scoring sacrifice fly and Tommy Holmes on a groundout to short.  Attendance was a massive 86,288 fans, who saw the Red Sox win the game, 11-5.  The stub has been graded VG 3 by PSA due to overall wear, most visible at the perforation where an irregular tear has resulted in light paper loss at the edge.  Still, a very significant World Series stub.
