Here's a group of six 1934 Goudey's that all present quite well despite the technical grades. An SGC 4 of the Phillies George Darrow has teammate (and Hall-of-Famer) Chuck Klein getting in on the action on a well preserved obverse and similar reverse- both quite nice for the grade. Lou Gehrig comments on all the rest, such as the SGC 4 of the Cubs Lynn Nelson that follows, which is another fine in-grade specimen. Cleveland's Bob Weiland glowers on a PSA 4 that has a couple of obverse scratches while hot-tempered John Allen of the Yankees stands out dramatically against a lemon-yellow background on an SGC 3. The Chisox Bob Boken has been assessed an SGC 1.5 and while there is a "tidal wave" ripple of creases in the upper left, they largely avoid his image. A BVG 4 of the Boston Braves Ed Brandt concludes this six pack in grand, blue-on-blue style.
