Outstanding collection of 46 cards from the 1933 Goudey issue, the most popular and widely-collected baseball card set of the gum card era.  The clean and colorful cards are part of an original owner collection of 1920s and 1930s cards, consigned by the family of the youngster who pulled the cards from packs in 1933.  The cards are well-loved and handled, averaging F-G condition, with some better and a few lesser, with some of the lesser condition cards marred by small pinholes.  Primary condition flaws are corner and edge wear, with some surface abrasions and minor creasing here and there.  A few have clear tape or paper affixed to the reverse (noted in the checklist). Six have small hole punches in the bottom corner where they were likely strung together, a common practice for holding and carrying cards back in the day.  A breakdown of the cards included are as follows: #17, #6 (tape), #7 Lyons (HOF), #8 (tape/paper), #10, #11, #12, #13, #15, #16, #18, #19 Dickey (HOF), #20 Terry (HOF), #33, #45, #59, #61, #63 Cronin (HOF), #67, #75, #76 Cochrane (HOF), #79 Faber (HOF), #93, #102 Jackson (HOF), #104, #122, #123, #124, #139, #146, #154 Foxx (HOF), #159, #167, #168 Goslin (HOF), #183, #187 Manush (HOF), #190 (writing), #194 Averill (HOF), #195, #199 (2 - one with tape), #207 Ott (HOF - hole punch - P), #212, #221, #222 Gehringer (HOF - P - hole punch), #239.  An excellent original owner collection of 1933 Goudey cards, loaded with Hall of Famers and stars, fresh to the hobby.  46 cards total.
