Pitcher Ron Perranoski was a fan favorite who was the author of a 13-year major league career.  A workhorse reliever, Perranoski posted a 1603 record with a minuscule 1.67 ERA with the 1963 Dodgers, helping the team to a World Series victory and finishing fourth in the MVP voting.  In late 1967, Perranoski was traded to Minnesota along with Johnny Roseboro and Bob Miller for Mudcat Grant and Zoila Versalles.  He helped the 1969 and 1970 Twins reach the postseason, saving 31 games in 1969 and 34 in 1970, leading the league in both campaigns.  His 1970 season saw him finish 7th in the Cy Young voting and 12th in the MVP voting, as he appeared in 67 games, with a 2.43 ERA.

Presented here is a game-used road gray flannel from that 1970 season, a Spalding size 42 jersey with all original tagging and patches.  In outstanding condition with light evidence of game use, the jersey is accompanied by a Letter of Authenticity from noted jersey collector Dave Miedema.  The LOA makes reference to an included pair of uniform pants; the pants are not included in this lot.
