W601 team composite picturing the 1905 Chicago White Sox who finished 92-60-6 that season, good enough for 2nd in the American League. 13" x 14" piece features nineteen members of the club, led by future Hall of Famers Fielder Jones and star hurler Ed Walsh. All players depicted (with the exception of Danny Green in his final season) were members of the White Sox championship season the following year, defeating the Cubs in the 1906 World Series. This example presents beautifully with only a tiny piece absent from the top-left corner and a touch of wear to the lower right corner.
