Professionally matted and framed to a finished size of 21" x 18", this attractive 1905 Police Gazette team photo pictures the Pittsburgh Pirates of that season, including Hall of Famer Honus Wagner (top row, left) and Fred Clarke (top row, third from left).  While the photo is sharp and clear, some remnants of clear tape are visible at the bottom border and at the extreme right edge, near the center.  The adhesive at the bottom center edge was clearly placed there to repair a small tear in the bottom border; the piece appears to have been trimmed from a larger size and then adhered to a black backing inside the frame.  Regardless, a strong vintage display featuring one of the game's most widely-collected Hall of Famers in Honus Wagner.
