Ticket stub for the St. Louis "Subway Series," the third time in World Series history that both teams had the same home field.  The Cardinals and Browns squared off for six games, the Series ultimately won by the Cardinals behind Hall of Fame manager Billy Southworth.  The Cardinals won the game, 2-0, behind the pitching of Mort Cooper.  The stub is in POOR condition due to paper loss on the front, along the right edge, and on the reverse as well, likely from irregular tearing at the perforations.
