Yankee Stadium ticket stub from Game 3 of the 1964 World Series, between the Yankees and St. Louis Cardinals.  Though the Cardinals would win the Series in 7 games, Game 3 was a Yankees 2-1 win behind the pitching of Jim Bouton.  The game was tied at 1 heading into the bottom of the ninth, when leadoff hitter Mickey Mantle told on-deck hitter Elston Howard to go back to the clubhouse, because he was going to hit a home run.  Mantle then proceeded to hit the first pitch into the right-field stands, his 16th World Series home run and the one that would break Babe Ruth's record for most Series home runs.  The stub is in GOOD condition with wear and light wrinkling at the top perf, and a small spot of paper loss along the right edge.  Some paper loss is visible on the reverse, from a rough tear at the perforation.  A significant ticket, marking a record-breaking, walk-off home run by Mickey Mantle.
