Of the 22 total 1953 Stahl-Meyer Campanella cards given numerical grades by PSA, a whopping 16 of them check in at PSA 1, either straight up or with a qualifier.  That almost three-quarters of all PSA graded examples come in with such a low assessment really attests to the difficulty of finding these cards in nice shape, or, frankly, at all. This particular example exhibits the product staining associated with these cards - they directly touched the hot dogs - with a handful of creases plus the added "bonus" of a product code or store stamp biting into the nameplate. But the image of Campy is well focused and largely undisturbed and you can see the Ebbets Field stands and press box in their full glory as he convincingly mimics chasing a foul ball for the camera. Flip it over and the blue text sets off well against the thick red borders.
