This is an interesting 1937 Exhibit for a couple of reasons. It has a Hall-of-Famer in Alfonso (Al) Lopez , enshrined for his managerial record despite never bringing home a World Series title but Danny MacFayden's peepers are what really grab your attention. Ballplayers are not, even to this day, rarely photographed in glasses and this is a particularly early example of such an anomaly. The SGC 3 assessment seems a tad harsh at first glance, although it's been dinged in a couple of spots. Very bad Braves, very good card.
