In the midst of the Depression, Exhibit Supply Co. relied upon "4-on-1" arcade cards, which theoretically supplied more bang to the penny while saving on production costs. This particular card 1935 features three Red Sox Hall-of-Famers in Lefty Grove, Joe Cronin and "Dick" Ferrell plus a pretty fair third baseman in Billy Werber. Despite this concentration of talent, the 1935 Red Sox finished in fourth place, 16 games behind Detroit. Between them, PSA and SCG have graded 18 examples of this card. SCG has none higher than this 5, with three others at the same grade (with one lesser) while PSA has graded thirteen in total, with two 6's the highest grades given. Left edge and corner chipping explain the grade and the card retains a fresh look, with solid inking throughout. The reverse has that to-die-for creamy-colored goodness you expect from 80+ year old Exhibits.
