1971 was the first set in the Topps & O-Pee-Chee alliance to reach the same card count in both countries as the Canadian sets were usually truncated, sometimes dramatically.  But having 752 cards in their set seems to have exacted a shorter print run for some series, even by the reduced counts customarily found in Canada-and that's before you get to the last two series, which never saw the same production numbers as the earlier ones in either country. Clemente falls into the semi-high series in 1971 and any subject therein is tough to find in the O-Pee-Chee set. For example, there are almost 3,600 Topps Clemente cards graded by PSA versus a mere 63 O-Pee Chee's, or less than 2% in comparison. And except for a handful of PSA 8's with Qualifiers, the highest grade granted by PSA for this Clemente is a 7. Translation: these are tough to find in any condition and this PSA 4.5 is in fine fettle for the grade.  Some corner wear and edge chipping one the front are at play here while the back (in far nicer appearance than any 1971 Topps due to the yellow color scheme) exhibits some foxing. This is a tough card from a popular O-Pee-Chee set and the Pirates cards are extra popular due to their World Series victory that year over the Orioles.
