The 1947-66 Exhibit issue covered a span of 20 years, with the company issuing a new set each year. Since some of the cards were reprinted year after year, some are found with minor variations as well.
Tougher variation of Mantle's Exhibit card, graded POOR 1 by SGC due to surface wear and abrasions noticeable at the lower-right corner, which has resulted in some paper loss. Erased writing is also apparent on the reverse. Despite the wear, the eye appeal surpasses the assigned grade.
