The T227 "Series of Champions" cards were issued with Honest Long Cut and Miner's Extra tobacco brands and featured four baseball stars (Cobb, Bender, Baker and Marquard) among the 25-card set that also included other famous athletes.  The oversized cards are prized among collectors who, despite the small size of the set, still have difficulty completing just the baseball players, due to the scarcity of the cards as well as the expense.  The cards are typically found in collector grades, as is the case with this example, graded PR-FR 1 by PSA due to overall wear with a few surface abrasions above Cobb's cap yielding some mild paper loss.  Still, a strong image and a colorful card overall, the key to the T227 issue.
