Iconic image of the most famous player of all time, from one of the most widely-collected baseball card sets ever issued.  Despite being double-printed, the 1933 Goudey card #144 of Ruth remains in high demand among collectors, featuring a full-body image of the Sultan of Swat completing his swing - a pose featured in many iconic images of Ruth throughout the years.  This example has been graded AUTHENTIC by SGC due to severe back damage.  Other condition issues include surface soiling, writing on the reverse, and a small tear at the upper border, along with general color fading.  Despite this, the card does boast strong eye appeal given its technical flaws.  As the Goudey Ruth cards continue to surge in demand, affordable examples are few and far between.
