Among the more attractive of the 1920s strip card issues, the W551 set was issued in horizontal strips of ten, with ten baseball players included in the set.  The key is, of course, Babe Ruth.  This example has been graded AUTHENTIC by SGC, due to an irregular cut that encroached on the border.  The card appears strong, though, with some light surface wear and rounded corners, along with a piece of clear tape and some writing on the reverse.  A tough card of Ruth, rendered more difficult due to the preponderance of reprints from this issue that have filtered into grading company holders (the reprints have the player and team names printed in blue; the originals in black).  An outstanding card, one of the more interesting strip cards featuring the Babe.
