The 1932 Sanella issues, while common, are simply pleasing. Featuring a colorful illustration of Ruth at the end of his swing, his eyes following the ball, the illustration is set against a backdrop of fans in the grandstand. Each time we have a Sanella in our possession we marvel at its beauty and question why the card isn't more popular than it is, as it was easily one of the most appealing illustrated Ruth cards in existence. This is a particularly high-grade example, with sharp corners and a glowing white border.
