Attractive unofficial advertising scorecard measuring 14" x 5 1/2" and intended to be folded cleanly in half, featuring inset images of the NL Champion Philadelphia Phillies and AL Champion Boston Red Sox.  One side of the piece features a printed scorecard for fans to score a game, while the obverse features a historical list of pennant winners and World Champions, along with statistical lists of each year's batting leaders, along with a print advertisement for Fair and Square Suits, endorsed by Walter Johnson.  Though Johnson brings star power to the piece, it is the presence of Babe Ruth at the end of his 1915 rookie season that lends the piece its importance.  Strong display quality, the scorecard is heavily toned, and has separated at the fold, cleanly in two pieces.  Some paper loss is evident, notably at the upper left corner but also the upper right, as well as a few edge notches.  The piece could easily be professionally matted and framed to create a wonderful rookie-era display featuring Ruth, or could benefit from professional restoration.  Regardless, any Ruth-related item from 1915 has immense desirability among collectors; this piece should be no exception.
