Collection of four Type 1 photos that served as source images for E120 American Caramel baseball cards in 1922. Group includes: Ira Flagstead, Jack Graney, Charlie Grimm, and Al Walters. There is some minor waviness to the top and bottom edges which is typical for news service photos of the era. The Al Walters example is missing a piece from the lower-left corner and there are pinholes throughout the white border of Charlie Grimm's photo. Charlie Grimm's example does also exhibit minor smudging and two pieces of tape remnants are affixed. Verso of all photos remain bright white with handwritten pencil notations. These photos are fresh to the hobby and originate from the archives of Photo File, Inc. where they have been stored for several decades until this offering.
