John "Stuffy" McInnis was a key player for Connie Mack's first Philadelphia Athletics dynasty and a member of the famed "$100,000 Infield".  A consistent .300 hitter and a whiz with the glove, McInnis was part of six pennant winning squads, netting World Series titles with five of them (1910, 1911, 1913 Athletics, 1918 Red Sox, 1925 Pirates). Baseball Magazine began a long run of poster premiums in 1910 and by 1913 was expanding their player selection and McInnis was part of this larger roster, although his fame and prowess didn't help getting his name right on this M113 poster.  Folded horizontally at some point in its long life, this example has evidence of being stapled or pinned once or twice along the top border and also has additional minor creasing evident and damage in the lower left corner of the bold and well composed image.
