The 1939 World Series was not a suspenseful one; the New York Yankees coasted to a 106-45 record, 17 games ahead of the second-place Red Sox, one of the finest Yankees teams ever assembled.  Game 4 of the Series, played at Crosley Field in Cincinnati, was the most exciting of the four games the Yankees swept.  WIth no scoring until the Yankees put two on the board in the top of the 7th, the Reds responded with three in the bottom half, and one more in the bottom of the 8th.  The Yankees capitalized on some miscues to tie it in the 9th, and won in the 10th on a two-run single by Joe DiMaggio, who later scored on one of Cincinnati's four errors.  Presented here is a lower grandstand stub from that game, in VG condition with some general wear.
