Pink-toned Exhibit card signed in black ink by Phillies infielder Heinie Sand.  Sand managed a brief, six-year career with Philadelphia, and died at the young age of 61 in 1958.   This example has been postally used, mailed in 1928 with a cancellation and writing on the reverse.  PSA/DNA has assessed two different signed 1926-29 Exhibit cards of Sand; both are featured in this auction. Of the two, this is the only one where the signature was graded, attaining the NM-MT 8 level from PSA/DNA.
