Pair of Supplements from the 1909-13 M101-2 Sporting News issue.  Collection includes: 1) Christy Mathewson (HOF): issued August 5, 1909.  POOR/AUTHENTIC condition, with significant heavy creasing, edge tears, and surface wear.  Still, one of the keys to the issue.  The bottom-right corner has been torn away, replaced by a collector who affixed a photocopy to the reverse to give the appearance of a complete supplement.  2) Detroit Team w/Ty Cobb (HOF): Double-sized team photo picturing all the players in street clothes, as issued November 18 of 1909.  POOR condition with heavy wear at the center fold, some creases and larger tears, a bit of paper loss at the top edge and an upper-left corner clip.  The center fold has been repaired with clear tape on the reverse, as have some of the tears; paper loss and glue stains are also evident as the piece had clearly been mounted in a scrapbook.  Two supplements total.
