Sharp, higher-grade rookie card of Yankee infielder and eventual broadcaster Tony Kubek, who broadcast New York Yankees games for four years in the 1990s. Kubek, not afraid to criticize Yankees owner George Steinbrenner, because a cynical fan, losing interest in the dollars and cents part of the game. He retired at the end of the 1994 season. In 2008, Kubek received the Ford Frick award for broadcasters, and told reporters at that time that he had not watched a single baseball game since his 1994 retirement.
