Professionally framed to a finished size of 18" x 23", beautiful 1902 cover of H.K. Shackleford's Happy Days: A Paper for Young and Old.  The illustration refers to a story called "Home-Run Harry; Or, The Champion Batter of the Team," by Cornelius Shea, and pictures a character named Harry Jobes, belting a home run in a beautiful game illustration.  Shea was a writer of dime novels and adventure stories, and not to be confused with the founder of the Teamsters union, who had the same name.  The image appears in outstanding condition, with some minor wear as one would expect with a century-old newspaper.  The matting and framing prevents us from examining the edges of the piece, of course, but the overall presentation is tremendous.
