One of the hobby's first sets to profile one single player, the 1959 Fleer Ted Williams issue chronicles the career of the Hall of Famer from his youth until 1958. While sets are relatively plentiful, higher-grade examples are more difficult to find. This example is a higher-grade set, featuring the elusive card #68, "Ted Signs for 1959," in PSA NM-MT 8. The cards all appear very sharp, mostly well-centered, with strong corners. Condition flaws mostly refer to uneven toning on some cards, light corner touches, and in some cases, centering. A condition breakdown of the set would be 6% NM-MT, 22% NM, 49% EX/MT, 20% EX, and a few lesser. A lovely group of cards from a very popular set featuring one of the greatest players in history. 80 cards total.
