Significant souvenir program for the Harvard/Yale football game played on November 24, 1894. The 17th time these teems would meet in their rivalry, won by Yale (their 15th victory in the rivalry at that point), 12-4. As is the case with many of these very early college football programs, the program is beautiful and elaborate, a heavy hardcover cover picturing a game image, flanked by pennants representing each of the two teams. Interior pages include rules, advertising, roster information, photos and more, and are largely in VG/EX or better condition, save for some small ink notations on various pages, some identifying players. The core and binding are strong, with some light wear and soiling throughout.
