Outstanding official Green Bay Packers program, for a September 16, 1928 exhibition game with the Minneapolis Marines, an early team that had folded in 1924 but was resurrected in 1929, becoming the Minneapolis Red Jackets. The Red Jackets in 1930 merged into the Frankford Yellow Jackets. The interestingly-printed program is not actually bound, but consists of a large, poster-sized printout that folds into "pages," each page containing a photo of a Packers player. A centerfold insert includes the roster pages of the Packers and Marines as a single two-page spread. The result is a three-piece program (the third piece being the cover, which acts more as a folder). Overall VG condition with moderate toning. Due to age and storage, there is one section of the program interior pages that has split at the folds, though the "poster" does remain intact. An interesting program featuring two very early teams in an exhibition game before the beginning of the Packers' 1928 season.
