Complete T218 Champions set, one of the most popular multi-sport sets ever issued.  Though the set is best known for its two Jack Johnson cards, it features athletes of the era from a variety of sports including golf, track and field, and a number of lesser-known sports such as billiards and bowling.  The colorful lithographic cards were issued with Hassan, Mecca and Tolstoi ads, though all the cards in this collection feature Hassan or Mecca backs.

Two of the cards in this set - the two keys, featuring Jack Johnson - have been graded by SGC.  The front-view Johnson grades EX 5, and the side-view grades VG 3.  Of the other keys, the Horizontal Jim Jeffries grades VG/EX, the vertical Jeffries grades VG, and the Abe Attell grades roughly G.  A technical breakdown of the entire set would be 3% EX, 19% VG/EX, 57% VG, 20% G, and a few lesser.

It is important to note that, despite the technical grades, this is a colorful and largely crease-free set.  The technical downgrades relate primarily to corner wear and centering, with a few of the cards showing mild surface wear and one lesser-grade card presenting well, but with a back stamp.  Overall, a clean and attractive complete set of one of the most widely-collected of all the multi-sport tobacco issues.  153 cards total.
