Often overlooked by collectors, the 1964 Auravision Records are actual playable plastic picture discs measuring 6 3/4" x 6 3/4" and playable on a standard turntable.  Each of the records contain a full-color photo of the player with biographical and statistical information on the reverse.  Playing the record on a turntable reveals a five-minute interview with the player, conducted by sportscaster Marty Glickman.  The records were obtainable through a mail-in promotion conducted by Milk Duds and Meadow Gold Milk, though large quantities of the records eventually made their way into the hobby.  For some reason, the Willie Mays record was not as readily available and is considered scarce today, marked as single-printed in the Standard Catalog.

Presented here is the complete 16-record set including the tough Willie Mays, housed inside the rare 1964 Auravision Baseball Collection binder.  The records themselves all appear in EX/MT condition or better (save one exception below), their center holes all intact, implying they have never been played, the primary condition flaws related to centering or occasional instances of very minor edge chipping.  The one exception lies in the Don Drysdale record.  Drysdale signed the record in blue ink, and part of the signature is lifting off the record and is sticking to the inside of the plastic sheet, rendering that particular record (and binder page) in POOR condition.  16 records total, plus binder.
