Beautiful New York Journal-American photographic premium featuring a Brooklyn Dodgers team photo during Jackie Robinson's first season with the team.  A wonderful lineup of players is featured including Robinson and fellow Hall of Famers Pee Wee Reese and Arky Vaughan, along with Dodgers favorite Gil Hodges, Gene Hermanski, Ralph Branca, Pete Reiser, Cookie Lavagetto and Carl Furillo.  Measuring approximately 12" x 18", this blank-backed sepia-tone photo does exhibit notable edge and corner wear, along with a few very tiny notches and tears, though the image itself is largely clean.
