Measuring 10 1/2" x 16", gorgeous issue of Leslie's Illustrated Weekly, featuring beautiful football-related artwork by Charles MacLellan.  MacLellan was one of the most noteworthy magazine cover illustrators of his era, illustrating44 different covers for the Saturday Evening Post between 1913 and 1936, and also painted calendars for Rand McNally throughout the first half of the century.  The magazine does exhibit significant wear and discolorations at the spine, but the illustration is simply gorgeous, an outstanding early football image, suitable for display.
