Gorgeous example of the Babe Ruth card from the 54-card strip issue dated to 1931.  The issue actually featured two Ruth cards (#4 and #20), as well as two cards of Mickey Cochrane, and the cards can be found with various ink tints, as well as smaller-sized versions.  All told, this set packs quite a bit of star power, as 60% of its subjects wound up in the Hall of Fame.  This example has been graded VG-EX 4 by PSA with some minor corner and edge wear being the card's primary flaws.
