Distributed in packs of Old Mill, Belmar, Turkey Red and Red Sun cigarettes, the satiny S74 "silks" are available on white and colored backgrounds, with the white backgrounds slightly more scarce.  Very fragile, the silks are often found without their paper backings.  Presented here is a collection of graded silks, all with white backgrounds, all but one with their original paper backings.  Each of the silks has been graded, 11 by SGC and two by GAI when that company was a viable entity.  The collection includes the following:  SGC EX 5 (1 Silk): Elberfeld (Turkey Red); GAI EX 5 (1 Silk): Fred Payne (Old Mill); SGC VG/EX 4 (4 Silks): Bresnahan (HOF - Turkey Red, Blue Printing), Hemphill (Old Mill), Pelty (Old Mill), Shean (Turkey Red); GAI VG-EX 4 (1 Silk): Parent (Old Mill); SGC VG+ 3.5 (1 Silk):  Miller (Old Mill); SGC VG 3 (2 Silks): Evans (Old Mill), Titus (Turkey Red); SGC GOOD+ 2.5 (1 Silk): Burne (Old Mill); SGC GOOD 2 (1 Silk): Oldring (Old Mill); SGC A (1 Silk): Carrigan (missing backing).  13 silks total.
