Outstanding higher-grade rookie card of Hall of Fame third baseman Mike Schmidt (along with star third sacker Ron Cey).  Centered just slightly to the right, the card remains sharp and clean, a few tiny blemishes here and there a result of poor Topps quality control.  The blemishes are certainly not distracting to the eye, though they do contribute to the reduction in technical grade.  The most important card of the issue, and according to many collectors, the most important card of the decade.
