Exceptional official Braves Field program for the 1915 World Series between the Boston Red Sox and Philadelphia Phillies.  During this Series, Babe Ruth made his first World Series appearance, a single pinch hit appearance in the ninth inning of the first game, grounding out against Grover Cleveland Alexander.  Despite winning 18 games in the Red Sox rotation, Ruth did not appear in the Series as a pitcher.

The program presents extremely well but exhibits significant wear in the form of toning and overall soiling.  The program is completely intact, though pages are very slightly loose.  Some wrinkling is evident, as is edge and corner wear.

Of primary significance here are the two rookie-era photos that picture Babe Ruth.  The first appears right on the outside back cover, in an advertisement for Stag brand sweaters, the same image used in the scarce and desirable Stag Sweaters advertising cabinet photo.  The second team photo appears on an inside page, a similar photo to the desirable and valuable 1915 Red Sox team postcard taken within seconds of the postcard image.  A very highly coveted World Series scorecard featuring rookie era photos of Babe Ruth.
