Gorgeous chromolithograph print by illustrator Hibberd Van Buren Kline, whose illustrations and poster art appeared in many national magazines.  Measuring approximately 44" x 14 1/2" and framed slightly larger, the piece depicts an action image of a football game during the pre-helmet era.  The colorful illustration pictures an action scene depicting a forward pass being completed, spectators in the background.  The beautiful piece exhibits some staining, particularly along the edges, with some folds from storage and a few small tears and holes, none of which interfere dramatically with the gorgeous eye appeal of the piece.  The frame prevents us from examining the reverse and the edges.  From the collection of Ted Patterson.  It should be noted that this oversized piece will require additional shipping charges beyond our standard shipping rate, due to its size and weight.
