One of the key cards to the popular 1948 Leaf issue, featuring Hall of Famer Ted Williams. The FR 1.5 grade assigned by PSA refers primarily to surface wrinkling, most of which does not break the color of the card front. One area where it does is in the upper-right corner, where the wrinkling is more of a crease, revealing a white spot where the wear has chipped away the red background. Despite the visible wear and accuracy of the grade, the card presents well, a pleasing example despite the lower technical grade.
