Strong grouping of midgrade Hall of Famers from the 1949 Bowman issue.  Collection includes the following:  1) #23 Bobby Doerr (HOF): SGC EX+ 5.5, sharp but slightly off-center, with a small print defect in the red background underneath Doerr's bat.  2) #65 Enos Slaughter (HOF): SGC VG/EX+ 4.5, clean example with remarkably rich coloration, light corner wear and a faint stain on the reverse reducing the numerical grade.  3) #210 Joe Gordon (HOF): Mislabeled by SGC as card #101 (Sid Gordon), graded VG/EX 4 with a light stain in the upper-right corner, otherwise clean and well-centered.  Three cards total.
