Initially distributed by being stapled to milk cartons, the Lake to Lake Braves issue of 1960 are a condition-sensitive set containing 28 members of the Braves, notably Hank Aaron, Warren Spahn and Red Schoendienst.  The cards feature blue-tinted photos of each subject, which included both players and coaches, and are quite condition-sensitive.  For obvious reasons, many surviving cards have tears or staple holes, and since the cards were redeemable for gifts and prizes, many have hole punches or cancellation stamps on the reverse.  The cards of Bill Bruton and Ray Boone are considered exceptionally scarce short prints.  Nine others are considered easier to find, particularly in higher grades, due to a large lot of uncirculated cards being discovered in the 1960s by an early card dealer.

Presented here is a difficult-to-find complete set of all 28 cards, including the short prints.  Five of the cards have been graded.  The collection includes the following:  Hank Aaron (SGC FR 1.5), Joe Adcock (EX), Ray Boone (VG/EX), Bill Bruton (PR, staple hole), Bob Buhl (EX+), Lou Burdette (PR, staple hole), Chuck Cottier (PSA EX-MT 6), Wes Covington (FR, likely trim), Del Crandall (VG/EX), Charlie Dressen (EX), Bob Giggie (EX), Joey Jay (VG/EX), Johnny Logan (VG/EX), Felix Mantilla (PR, staple hole nearly torn off), Lee Maye (PR, staple hole), Don McMahon (PR, staple hole), George Myatt (PR, staple hole), Andy Pafko (EX), Juan Pizarro (VG/EX), Mel Roach (SGC VG/EX 4); Bob Rush (PR, staple hole), Bob Scheffing (PR, staple hole), Red Schoendienst (SGC NM 7), Warren Spahn (SGC A), Al Spangler (EX), Frank Torre ( VG/EX), Carl Willey (VG/EX, possible trim), and Whit Wyatt (VG/EX).  A difficult set to complete in any grade.  28 cards total.
